Rainbow Wahine sweep past Cal State Fullerton

Hanna Hellvig had 12 kills, Norene Iosia posted her 12th double-double of the season with 14 assists and 12 digs to go with a career-high eight blocks, and the 21st-ranked University of Hawaii women’s volleyball team swept Cal State Fullerton on Friday in Fullerton, Calif.

The Rainbow Wahine won 25-12, 25-19, 25-18 to improve to 17-3, 7-2 in Big West Conference play.

Bailey Choy had 23 assists and seven digs, Amber Igiede added eight kills and four blocks, and Skylar Williams had five kills and eight blocks as UH dominated at the net, outblocking the Titans 12-3. Julia Crawford had 13 kills to lead Cal State Fullerton (10-9, 2-6).

The Rainbow Wahine conclude their road trip with a match at UC Irvine today.
