Rainbow Wahine breeze past Cal State Fullerton in 3

Kennedi Evans and Caylen Alexander each had seven kills as the University of Hawaii women’s volleyball team dominated Cal State Fullerton 25-18, 25-10, 25-14 on Saturday night at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu.
Eleven Rainbow Wahine had at least one kill as UH hit .271 compared to minus-0.049 by the Titans. Amber Igiede had five kills along with a match-high five blocks and Kate Lang had 23 assists for Hawaii (11-5, 4-1 Big West).
UH held decisive edges in blocks (10.5-2) and digs (47-38) in recording the win in 83 minutes.
Laura Williams led Cal State Fullerton (1-13, 0-5) with seven kills.
The Rainbow Wahine next host UC Irvine tonight.
