Rainbow Warriors sweep past Pioneers

Alaka’i Todd had 10 kills as the third-ranked University of Hawaii men’s volleyball team continued to roll during its 11-game homestand with a sweep of Sacred Heart on Friday night at the Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu.
The Rainbow Warriors won 25-17, 25-13, 25-17 as they improved to 13-1 overall and 7-0 on their current homestand, during which they’ve so far dropped just one set. They’ve won 12 straight overall.
Guilherme Voss had five kills and six blocks, Chaz Galloway also had five kills while playing two sets, and Tread Rosenthal dished out 25 assists for UH, which hit .345 for the match.
Carlos Santa Cruz led the Pioneers (6-10) with 10 kills.
The teams play again on Sunday.
