Toda named Seabury middle school head
Seabury Hall recently announced the appointment of Jon Toda as middle school head, alumna Brittany Young as director of alumni relations and Father Christopher Golding as school chaplain.
Toda, the current director of technology with more than 20 years of service at Seabury, will replace Jacqueline Neal, who was named as the new head of school at Carden Academy. Toda will oversee the middle school academic program; he begins his new post June 1.
Young started in her position on Feb. 1. She is responsible for establishing connections between alumni and Seabury Hall and providing relevant programs and events that engage and benefit alumni and the school community.
Golding will join the school in August as chaplain. He will teach religion classes in addition to providing guidance and support to students and staff. Previously serving as associate priest at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and School in Baton Rouge, he has been the vicar at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Kailua, Oahu, as well as the associate rector at St. Clement in Honolulu.

Speichers named managing directors
Coldwell Banker Island Properties’ Chris and Peggy Lyn Speicher have been named managing directors for Kapalua and Kaanapali, a February announcement said.
The two will oversee the organization’s business development and sales operations for West Maui as well as growth of affiliated businesses.
Chris Speicher will be responsible for growing real estate sales, the expansion of affiliated businesses and development of Coldwell Banker Island Vacations and Coldwell Banker long-term property management.
Peggy Lyn Speicher will be responsible for growing real estate sales, recruiting, office management and the development of ancillary services.

Ramos promoted at chocolate company
Meghan Ramos has been promoted to fulfillment team manager of Maui Ku’ia Estate Chocolate Inc., according to a February news release.
“Meghan is a fantastic part of our Chocolate Kuleana team,” Gunars Valkirs, CEO, said in the announcement. “With her management skills and her sparkling, genuine, helpful personality, she truly connects with both customers and co-workers.”
The Maui native received her bachelor’s degree in history at Linfield College in Oregon.
Maui Ku’ia Estate Chocolate, located at 78 Ulupono St., Lahaina, is open from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Sunday.
