DFS Group reopens airport stores
DFS Group has reopened two of its stores in Maui’s Kahului Airport from 5 to 10 p.m. daily, timed with departing flight schedules, according to a news release.
The Kahului Trading Company stores are two of five stores that DFS operates in Kahului Airport and are located in the rotunda of the international terminal. The Kahului Trading Company stores, which had been closed due to the pandemic, specialize in local and locally made products including cookies, chocolates and souvenirs.

Wailea eateries celebrate burgers
Restaurants at The Shops at Wailea are celebrating National Hamburger Month in May, with specials at The Pint & Cork, Tommy Bahama, Longhi’s and Island Gourmet Markets, according to a news release.
The Pint & Cork has The Bib Burger, along with classic Cheeseburger Sliders; Tommy Bahama offers the All-American Burger and Cheeseburger Sliders; Longhi’s creates a Maui Cattle Company Hamburger and Grilled Maui Cattle Beef Sliders; and Island Gourmet Markets has the Sunrise Burger, Premium Kobe Wag-yu Burger, Bacon Cheeseburger and others.

Pacific Whale has work, learn, play trip
Pacific Whale Foundation’s PacWhale Eco-Adventures is offering a Work, Learn and Play from Sea Package that allows residents and visitors to embark on a 65-foot double-decker power catamaran for seven hours. Snorkel and explore Maui’s coral reefs and enjoy locally-sourced food from award-winning Three’s Catering. A variety of alcoholic drinks including local Maui Brewing Co. beer, wine, tropical cocktails and other mixed drinks are includ-ed. Guests will be taught by a certified marine naturalist. Attendees will also have a workspace that includes a desk, Wi-Fi access, charging stations and office supplies. The package starts at $4,900 for a maximum of 15 people is based on availability. United Air offers AlohaMacs on flights
United Airlines starting last month began serving Hawaiian Host’s classic AlohaMacs milk chocolate-covered macadamias on U.S. Mainland-bound flights leaving Honolulu and Maui to customers in premium cabins, according to an announcement.
Each pack features a pair of the brand’s macadamia nuts coated in handcrafted milk chocolate.
“We’re happy to partner with United Airlines to offer visitors a piece of aloha to remind them of their journey,” said Ed Schultz, president and CEO of Hawaiian Host Group. “We’re proud that Hawaiian Host confections are beloved both here in Hawaii and beyond.”
