After 30 years of engagement, former State Rep. Joe Bertram III, son of Joseph and Esther Bertram of Kihei, wed his lifelong partner Albert Morairty, son of Richard and Marguerite Morairty of Arizona, on Dec. 4, in one of the first gender-equal marriages on Maui.
