Sacapanio-Baisa/Lee
Jessica Nohealani Lee, daughter of Derek and Evalani Lee of Kahului, and Marshall Pomaikai Sacapanio-Baisa, son of Terrie Baisa and the late Michael Sacapanio, were married on Oct. 11, 2014, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Pulehu Chapel in Kula. Bishop Mark Kaaa performed the ceremony. A reception followed at the Kihei Community Center.
The matron of honor was the bride’s sister Marissa Medlin, the bridesmaids were the groom’s sister Miriam Sacapanio-Baisa and close friend Vanessa Naluai-Kaufusi, and the flower girl was Amelia Medlin, the bride’s niece.
The best man was the groom’s brother Peter Sacapanio-Baisa, the ushers were the bride’s brother Scott Lee and close friends Jason Okazaki and Daniel Tuzon-Dayoan, and the ring bearers were nephews of the bride James Medlin VI and Derek Medlin and nephew of the groom Kaikea Gomes-Baisa.
The groom works for the State of Hawaii as a maintenance worker at Kahului Harbor. The bride is a math teacher at King Kekaulike High School. The couple resides in Wailuku.
