Maia Corpuz and Tyler Hilsabeck

Maia Corpuz and Tyler Hilsabeck were married Aug. 20 at the Ventana Campgrounds in Big Sur, Calf.

The bride is the daughter of Nellie Panon and Jonathan Corpuz and was raised by Nellie Panon and Grandmother Betty Corpuz. She is a 2010 graduate of Kapa’a High School, 2014 graduate of Chaminade University, 2017 graduate of University of Hawaii at Manoa and currently is attending her third year at University of Southern California pursuing her Ph.D. in molecular pharmacology and toxicology.

The groom is the son of Mark and Kimberly Hilsabeck of Wailuku. He is a 2010 graduate of Kamehameha Schools Maui, a 2015 graduate of Chaminade University and currently is employed as a Orange County Deputy Sheriff (Special Response Team) since 2018.

The couple resides in Brea, Calif.
