George Yoshio Tengan of Waikapu, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2018. He was born on August 3, 1942 in Puunene to Kenjiro and Hatsue Tengan who preceded him in death. He had 75 wonderful years with his family, including his loving wife of 52 years, Karen, and children, Kyle (Donna) Tengan and Lena (Phernell) Walker. He was a proud grandfather to four girls, Kaitlyn Tengan, Lauren Yee, Korrie Tengan, and Rachel Yee. George is also survived by his siblings Mary (Robert) Shimabukuro and Kenneth (Suzie) Tengan. Joachim Buetzer, 75, of Lahaina passed away on January 15, 2018 at Maui Memorial Medical Center Joachim was born in Karlsruhe, Germany on February 14, 1942 to the late Karl and Anna Buetzer. He immigrated to Honolulu, Hawaii in 1968. He is the beloved father of Hans Buetzer and Tatiana (Brett) Labore. He is the proud grandfather of Caleb Buetzer, Taj Labore, Kobe Labore, and Mina Labore.
