Leonida Jean Jacintho was born on March 7, 1943, and she passed peacefully on August 27, 2023. She was raised in Puunene and later moved to Haiku. Leonida is survived by her husband, Nelson Jacintho; her four children, sons, Larry Jacintho, Kevin (Jenn) Jacintho and Scott Jacintho; daughter, Maxine (Inola-Hiii) Leleo-Jacintho; grand-daughters, Azalea and Knightley; and many nieces and nephews. Todd E. Yamafuji, passed away on August 8th in the fire of Lahaina, Maui. He was the property manager of the Liberty Apartments on Luakini Street. He was born and raised in Lahaina. It was his beloved home. He is predeceased by his father, Takashi (Tom, Soup) Yamafuji. He is survived by his mother, Anita Yamafuji; sisters, Rene Yamafuji (Stanley Morris), and Avis Yamafuji (Ronald Cox); 3 nephews, 1 grandniece, and 2 grandnephews.
