Jacqueline “Kapua” Tyler passed away February 4, 2023 at the Hospice Hale on her beloved Hawaiian island of Maui at the age of 59. Jacqueline was born on December 8, 1963 to Bill and Silas Tyler in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She spent her childhood and school years there and in Paraguay, alongside her sister Patricia. Edna was born in Wailuku on July 14, 1959 to the parents of Mariano and Leonora Guerrero. In the last few years, Edna brought smiles to the children of Pomaikai Elementary School as a crossing guard and as a security guard at Kahului and Wailuku Public Library.
