Harold Anthony Lonopele Cathcart, Jr. of Lahaina, Maui, passed peacefully at home on December 6, 2022. He was born July 16, 1956, at Saint Francis Hospital, Oahu, Territory of HI. Harold worked in the Hospitality and Hotel lodging industry & Security management industry for many years. He currently worked as an HR Liaison at the Honua Kai Condominium Association. Jennifer Lola Hailele Hanawahine was born in Waimanalo, Oahu on December 22, 1945. Jennifer was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 9, 2022 at Hospice Maui in Wailuku. Jennifer was one of God’s fiercest warriors, dedicating much of her time to her Christian faith and to the brothers, sisters, and children who worshiped along-side her at the Faith Family Maui Church (formerly known as Rose of Sharon) in Kahului. Doris Marie Kenui of Upcounty Maui was called home to the Lord on December 3, 2022. Doris was born to Edward and Marie (Freitas) Tavares of Upcountry Maui on December 3, 1959. She grew up in Makawao where she lived for most of her life. She graduated from St. Anthony High School in 1977. She worked for many years at Dairy Queen in Pukalani and later in Kahului. Oreo Cookie Blizzards and Chocolate Dipped Cones were always well stocked when she was supervisor. Michelle Soares Miyajima, of Spring Valley, Nevada passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. Michelle was born on April 22, 1971, in Kaunakakai, Molokai. Michelle had an infectious smile and bright personality. She loved to laugh and spend time with friends and family. Kiyoka “Kay” Murayama, peacefully passed away on November 5, 2022, at her home. She is predeceased by her husband - Tabo Murayama, sister – Harumi Yoshikawa, and her brother – Christy Mamiya. She was a beautician and business owner of a hair salon. She was an avid golfer and loved to have a “toot” with friends. She has left behind her brother – Alvin Mamiya and her sister Agnes Mamiya. Allen Masayoshi Nakata, of Makawao, passed away on November 23, 2022, at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He is survived by his loving wife, Iris Michiko Nakata, Daughters, Kats Enrique (Edward), Leigh Nakata and Grandchildren Cassidy Suguitan, Seth Suguitan and Taylor Sayles.
