Stanley Toshio Kina, of Kahului, Maui passed away on October 18, 2022 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born in Puunene, Maui on August 23, 1949. He is preceded in death by his wife, Claire (Robello) Kina, parents, Isamu and Cecilia Kina, and brother, Anthony Kina. He is survived by sons, Quentin and Erik Kina, daughters, Wanda and Kristy Kina, sisters, Diane (Howard) Cabacungan and Suzanne (David) Cabacungan, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Walter T. Shimoda, son of Toshio and Katsuyo Shimoda, died on November 4th, 2022 at age 93. He wrote his obituary when he was diagnosed with cancer. He is survived by his wife, a University of Hawaii graduate and former school teacher, Nancy K.
