Glenn T. "Smiley" Miyahira, 69, passed away at his home in Wailuku on January 25, 2022. He was born and raised in Makawao and graduated from Lahainaluna High School in 1970. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and dedicated 30 years of service to the Maui Police Department, retiring as a Captain. He spent the remainder of his retirement years working at Kahului Airport with United Airlines and Securitas.
