Alan worked at the Royal Lahaina Hotel in the maintenance department before he retired. Yoshiharu Nakamura, 94, of Kula, passed away on March 15, 2021 at his residence. He was born on September 12, 1926 in Wailuku. Yoshiharu was a self-employed vegetable farmer. He is survived by his wife, Emiko Nakamura; son, Neil (Mona) Nakamura; daughters, Lynn Nakamura-Tengan (Robin-deceased), and Gay (Lee) Sibonga; brother,Masaki Nakamura; sister, Nancy Chong; 5 grandchildren, Jared, Jennifer, Shauna, Kirk, and Ray; and great- granddaughter, Mari. Robin Miki Tengan, 68, of Kula, passed away on March 14, 2021 at his home. Born on December 6, 1952 in Wailuku, Maui, Robin worked as a clerk for the State of Hawaii Department of Child Support Enforcement Agency. He is survived by his wife, Lynn Nakamura-Tengan; son, Ray Tengan; sister, Karen Goo; & 7 nieces & nephews. As a great husband and dad, he shared his wit and skilled handi-work with many family and friends. His funny sense of humor will be missed the most.
