Melvin S. Honda, of Wailuku, Maui, passed away at his residence on August 24, 2020. He was born in Wailuku on April 1, 1939. Mel Graduated from Baldwin High School and Maui Technical School. He was an auto body repairman for many years then worked at the Renaissance Hotel until he retired. He was an avid diver for fish and tako which he shared with his friends and family, enjoyed bird hunting with his friends, and the occasional trips to Las Vegas and visiting with his sister in California. Betty Ann (Sheean) O’Connell, 91 years old, of Pleasant Hill, California, passed away August 29, 2020. Born October 6, 1928, in San Francisco, California, to William and Lillian (McKinnon) Sheean. She graduated from Ėcole Notre Dame Des Victoires (high school) and Lone Mountain College (now part of the University of San Francisco).
