It is with great sadness that the Okafuji Ohana announces the peaceful passing of Teruko Okafuji on May 22, 2020 at the age of 104 at her foster care home with her family, her caregiver and Islands Hospice by her side. Teruko was born on July 7, 1915 in Puunene, Hi to Ichisuke and Kichi Takahata. She loved plants and loved to work in her yard. It is with sadness that the Oshiro Ohana of Pukalani announces the passing of Grace Satsuki Oshiro on May 16, 2020. She was born on July 09, 1929 and was the sixth child of ten children born to Bunichi and Kamato Ige of Puunene. Her surviving sisters are Ethel and Jane of San Francisco and Hazel of Kahului ​plus numerous relatives here in Hawaii, Stateside, and Okinawa. Yolanda K. Sniffen, 63 of Wailuku, Maui passed away peacefully under the care of her loving family and Hospice Maui on May 26, 2020. She was born to David and Eleanor Sniffen on May 14, 1957 in Wailuku, Maui.  She retired from Maui Memorial Medical Center as a Housekeeping/Laundry Attendant. Domingo C. Amano, 87, of Pukalani, Maui, passed away on May 19, 2020, at his home surrounded by his loving family, under the care of Hospice Maui. He was born on January 1, 1933 on Maui. Francis Bedoya, 92 of Lahaina, Maui passed away on May 26, 2020 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born to Macario and Maximina Bedoya on June 4, 1927 in Lahaina. He attended King Kamehameha 3rd school and completed Lahainaluna High in 1946, including pre-advocational in Carpentry, Machine shop and Auto shop. He worked as a gasoline and diesel mechanic for Pioneer Sugar Company for many years. Served in the U.S. Army in Schofield Barracks Oahu.
