Nancy Kay Kaili, 72, of Kahului, Maui, passed away on July 13, 2019, under the care of Hospice Maui. She was born on June 12, 1947, in Myrtle Point, Oregon. A private scattering was held. Nancy was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Kaili; sons, James (Susan) Kaili, Louis (Sahara) Kaili; daughters, Laurie Kaili, Lynn (William) Pitman, Amanda Kaili, Maria (Fredo) Dela Rosa; sisters, Donna Lengele, Margaret Rasmussen; and 11 grandchildren. Tsugiko Kikuta, 92

Tsugiko Kikuta, 92, of Kahului passed away at Maui Memorial Medical Center on June 4, 2019. She was born on December 12, 1926 in Spreckelsville, Maui and grew up in Omaopio. As a young adult she worked at Baldwin Packers Cannery. After she married, she was predominantly a homemaker who lovingly took care of family and took an active role in church social functions. Janet Tamayose, 98, of Haiku passed away on July 3, 2019 at Hale Makua in Kahului. She was born on August 16, 1920. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. Janet is survived by her sons, Ron (Joyce-deceased) Tamayose, Roy Tamayose, Harold Tamayose and Gene Tamayose; daughters, Gale (Michael) Holley and Sherry Tamayose; brother Sidney Kohatsu; sisters, Ethel Miyahira, Jane Watanabe, Sue Inouye and Michie Shiroma as well as 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Tamotsu Tasaka, 89, of Lahaina, passed away at Kahului Hale Makua on July 10, 2019. He was also under the care of Maui Hospice. He was born on October 7, 1929 in Lahaina. Tamotsu retired from Pioneer Mill Co., LTD after 44 years of service. Tamotsu was the only child of Seizo and Toshi Tasaka. He is survived by wife of 58 years, Ken Tasaka (wife), Sharon Tasaka (daughter), Clyde Tasaka (son), Calvin Tasaka (son), Jill Tasaka (daughter in law), Madison Tasaka (grand daughter). Leroy Joseph Kaiwi, Sr., 68, of Hana, Maui, passed away on June 6, 2019. He was born on January 13, 1951 in Kipahulu. George Shigeo Hanada, 72

George Shigeo Hanada passes away on June 17, 2019 in Honolulu, Hawai’i. Born, on August 21, 1946  to Shigeru and Chieko Hanada in Puunene, Maui. A graduate of St Anthony High School, went to attend school on the mainland and served in the Air Force.
