Betty Saiko Lanoza, 70, of Wailuku, Maui, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 28, 2019. She was born on June 5, 1948 in Wailuku, Maui to the late Ruichi and Mitsue Emoto. Betty is predeceased by her husband, Abraham K. Lanoza. She is survived by her sons, Fabian Ruichi Lanoza, Abraham Mitsu Lanoza (Denise), Rodney Shigeo Lanoza; siblings, Richard Nobuo Emoto, Margaret Mitsuko Emoto; grandchildren, Raymond, Mandy, Emmee, Misti, Kalia, and Keanu. Tomoye Murakami (Shimizu), born on April 4, 1920 passed away on February 13, 2019. She is survived by her son, Major Howard Yoshiyuki Murakami, SAF, NC (Retired) and grandson, Marcus Masanao Murakami. Lawrence "Larry" H. N. Kukahiko, passed at home on March 15, 2019. He is predeceased by his parents Henry & Mary Theresa Kukahiko. He is survived by 3 sisters: Jacqueline (Robert) Watson, Lynda Mae (Gilbert-deceased) Marzan & Cynthia (Mack) Wright, he also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Lawrence was a 4 year boarder at Lahainaluna High School, graduating class of 1982. He served in the US Army from 1984 to 1988.
