Junichi “Lanai” Kamidoi, 97, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2019 at Maui Memorial Hospital, Wailuku. He was born on June 25, 1921 in Kohala, Hawai’i. He retired from the Wailuku Sugar Company. Junichi is survived by his children, Edwin (Francisca), Daniel (Carolyn), Dwight (Diedre), Burton (Diana); nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
