After a long fight with cancer, Tita Ann Cabalce Swor, 57, of Wailuku, Maui, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2018 with loving family by her side. Tita Ann was born on March 23, 1961 to Mr. Domingo and Mrs. Perfecta Cabalce in Wailuku, Maui. Tita Ann served proudly in the United States Air Force, and later, became the office manager at Kula Glass Company. She was devoted to family and took immense pride in providing for her children. When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed drawing, gardening, and staying active, but most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her loved ones. ...

Hiroshi "Slim" Takahashi, 96, of Kahului passed away peacefully under the care of Hospice Maui at Hale Makua, Kahului, on December 24, 2018. Private Services were held. Hiroshi retired from HC&S. His greatest past times were fishing, golfing & trying his luck in Las Vegas. Hiroshi was born on July 31, 1922 in Makawao. He was predeceased by his parents Kinsuke & Tomi Takahashi, brother Masami Sato and sister Yoshiko Watanabe. Yoshiko Ushiro, 93 of Kahului passed away on December 30, 2018 in the care of Island Hospice. She was born on October 16,1925 in Wailuku ,HI to Kazuto and Hisayo Yoshida. She is survived by her son Rodney Ushiro and daughter Linda( Wayne ) Nishida. She also leaves 4 grand children and 7 great-grand children.
