Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Ballard Family Mortuary, service will begin at 11 a.m.; burial will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Maui Memorial Park, Garden of Meditation. He is survived by his wife, Kiyoko Suzuki of Pukalani, son Clyde Suzuki of Pukalani, Miles (Cheryl) Suzuki of Ewa Beach and daughter, Faith (Garret) Tom of Waikele. Chelliot Wayne Gibbs, 87, of Honolulu, husband of the late Myra English (the champagne lady) passed away on October 27, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Columbia, North Carolina on July 2, 1931. Mr. Gibbs served in the US Army and is a Vietnam War Veteran. After retiring from the Army Mr. Gibbs decided to enlist in the Army Reserves where he worked at Fort De Russy until he later retired to care for his wife who he lost to pancreatic cancer.
