She was born in Dingras, Ilocos, Norte Philippines on July 11th, 1929 to the late Alejandro Matulin & Valentina Valdez. She had retired from the Aston Kaanapali Shores as a Housekeeper. Mary Sweet, 88, of Paia, formerly of Anchorage, Alaska passed away November 5, 2018. Mary was active in the PEO a philanthropic ladies’ organizations, and the Makawao Union Church. Mary was a retired Probation Officer with the State of Alaska. She played the flute in the Anchorage Symphony as well as sang in the Anchorage Community Chorus for many years.
