Yaeko “Alice” Fujimoto, 84, of Haliimaile passed away peacefully on October 22,2018. She was born on May 3, 1934 in Puunene, to Kazuo and Kiyo Sakai. She was a homemaker and loved meeting people. Her family was very important to her. She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick Fujimoto. She is survived by her daughter Sharlene Fujimoto, her son Randy Fujimoto, her brother David (Lili) Sakai and her sister Judy Sakai. Herman Kukahiko, 72, of Napili passed away on November 5, 2018 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born in Hilo, Hawaii. Mary Sweet, 88, of Paia, formerly of Anchorage, Alaska passed away November 5, 2018. Mary was active in the PEO a philanthropic ladies’ organizations, and the Makawao Union Church. Mary was a retired Probation Officer with the State of Alaska. She played the flute in the Anchorage Symphony as well as sang in the Anchorage Community Chorus for many years.
