Rosalie Agnes Barclay, 97, of Wailuku, Maui, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2018 surrounded by loving family. She was born on November 17, 1920 in Paia, Maui to the late Joseph and Helen Moniz. Rosalie was a Hairstylist and loved to go bowling. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy Barclay. She is survived by her sons, James Barclay, Charles (Haunani) Barclay; grandchildren, Lesleeann and John. Visitation will be held at St. Anthony on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with Mass to begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Maui Veterans Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. ...

Wendell Keawe Castillo, 70

Wendell Keawe Castillo, 70 of Kahului, passed away on August 28, 2018 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on April 23, 1948, in Peahi, Maui. He was a graduate of Lahainaluna High School and earned a Degree in Carpentry at UH Maui College. Wendell was a Vietnam Army Veteran. As a Specialist 4, he received The Bronze Star Medal for meritorious achievement in ground operations against hostile forces in Vietnam, National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Expert Badge (M16), Parachutist Badge w/2 Overseas Service Bars, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and a Vietnam Service Medal ...

Jim Kennedy, 77 years old, passed away on July 25, 2018 at home, under hospice care. He was born in Los Angeles, CA.Jim was a psychologist and practiced on Maui and in California. Jim is survived by wife, Charlotte; son, John Kennedy; daughters, Lauren Kennedy and Yima Kennedy; father, Ron Newton; brothers, Ed Kennedy and Jeff Newton; sisters, Jean Herring and Linda Gonzalez, and 3 grandchildren. Marion Tsuruyo Kohatsu, 98, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 17th, 2018 at her residence in Kahului, Hawaii. Marion was born in Kaheka Camp, Maui on May 25, 1920. She lived a humble life that was devoted to her faith and relationship with God and service to others. She faithfully attended and served at Kahului Union Church for over 50 years.
