Andy D. Neri, 56, of Kahului, Maui, passed away on July 29, 2018, at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on October 2, 1961 in the Philippines. He is survived by his son, Aaron Tapec, his grandchildren, Aisea, Aven, Austen and Olivia Tapec, his mother, Mercedes D. Neri, his brothers and sisters, Carmelo Neri, Allan Neri, Merele (Alan) N. Frank E. Fernandez Sr., of Kahului passed away on August 5, 2018 in Wailuku. He was born on May 27, 1926 in Paia, Maui. He was a retired refuge truck driver for the county of Maui and public works. Frank is survived by his wife, Gabriella Fernandez; son, Frank (Abilene) Fernandez Jr.; daughters, Joanne (Ernest) Cabral, Susie (Melvin) Mendes; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Gavilan “Gavi” N. Kepa’a was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend. He passed away on August 6, 2018 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on February 13, 1949 in Honolulu to parents William Kepa’a and Clara Olival Kepa’a. Gavi resided on Hawai’i Island for much of his youth until graduating from Honoka’a High School. Upon graduation, Gavi was drafted into the U.S. Navy and received orders for Vietnam. He served in the Vietnam War as part of special forces with MACVSOG. Roy Koyanagi, 82, formerly of Maui, passed away July 2, 2018, in Kailua, Oahu. A Celebration of Life will be held at Nakamura Mortuary in Wailuku on Friday, August 17, 2018.
