Ralph Norio Masuda, age 75 passed on May 11, 2018 after a vigilant battle of multiple “shitty” ailments. Born in Wailuku, Maui, June 23, 1942 to Yoneaki Masuda and Yukiko Oura - raised in Happy Valley playing in Iao Stream and instigating pranks with his brothers & friends. Ralph served time in the Army in the 1960’s, graduated on the GI Bill from Cal Poly Tech, Pomona and held multiple positions with the County of Maui through the 1980's including Deputy Planning Director and Executive Assistant to the Mayor, later serving on multiple Boards and Commissions. Kiseko Satoshige, 84, of Waihe’e, Maui, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2018 at her home surrounded by family while under the comforting care of Hospice Maui. Mrs. Satoshige was born on April 2, 1934, in Ube-City, Yamaguchi-Prefecture, Japan and retired as a cook of Ichiban Okazuya. She was predeceased by her husband Hatsuharu. Tomoko (Carol) Tokunaga, 91, of Kahului, Maui passed away on May 22, 2018. Tomoko was born in Puunene, Maui on December 25, 1926, to parents Sakae and Tsuneyo Takemoto. William “Willy” Tatsuo Watanabe, 71, of Wailuku, passed away unexpectedly on May 21. Willy was born on October 24, 1946 and worked for over 30 years as a customer service agent with Aloha Airlines. He is survived by his wife Betty (Nee Endo), son Kurt (Kacie), stepson Keith (Lynn) Wong, grandchildren Kip, Kai, and Keely Watanabe and Geoff (Achlene) and Derek (Sarah) Wong, and sister, Janice Watanabe.
