Tetsuyuki “Captain” Nakamoto, 91, of Lahaina, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2018, under the compassionate care of Hospice Maui and loving family by his side. Services honoring Mr. Nakamoto was held yesterday at Lahaina Jodo Mission. Due to an error at The Maui News the obituary did not appear in the paper before the services. Nakamura Mortuary assisted with arrangements. Mr. Nakamoto was born on November 14, 1926, in Lahaina, HI, to the late Mr. Hichizo & Mrs. Yone Nakamoto. Rosaline Marie Estrella, 89 of Makawao, passed away on March 9, 2018 at Hale Makua in Kahului. She was born on January 17, 1929 in Paia, Maui. Rosaline worked at Makawao Elementary School cafeteria until she retired. Prior to that, she worked in Housekeeping at Maui Palms Hotel. Toshiko Asato Kajihara, 95, died on February 3, 2018, at Queen’s Medical Center following a brief illness. Born in Hamakua Poko and raised in Lahaina, Maui, she lived in Waimea, Kauai; Mililani, and Kaimuki, Oahu. Toshiko retired as a medical records clerk from Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital.
