Myrtle K. Hussey, 97, of Kahului, Maui, passed away peacefully at her residence in Kahului under the care of Hospice Maui, on December 2, 2017. Visitation to be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Saint Anthony’s Church in Wailuku. Public viewing will be at 9:00am to 11:00am., with mass to follow and lunch. Torio Nishida, 96, of Wailuku, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2017 at Hale Makua Kahului, surrounded by his loving children. Services honoring Mr. Nishida were held privately. Nakamura Mortuary assisted with arrangements. Torio was born on January 27, 1921 in Omaopio, he was the fourth of nine children. He attended Kula Elementary and then began working on the family farm.
