Ming Woo Mullen, 94 of Makawao, Hawaii passed away on November 16, 2017 at Hale Makua in Kahului. Ming Woo Mullen was born in Canton, China. Before settling in Maui, Ming spent extensive time in Guam, California, Hong Kong and Vietnam. Ming Woo is survived by her daughter, Lisa (John Malek) Mullen; 3 grandchildren, Ashley, Justine and Paxton; 2 great grandchildren, Elina and Artemis. Family will hold a private memorial service. Jean Yoneko Omori Murakami passed away on November 17, 2017. She was born on August 19, 1924 in Puunene, Maui. Services will be held at Nakamura Mortuary on Friday, December 8 at 4:30 p.m. She is survived by her sister, Myrtle Toda (Johnson) and son John Murakami (Mahie), eight grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. Annette Asae Nakashima, 72, of Pearl City, died November 8, 2017, on Oahu. Private services were held. Mrs. Nakashima was born in Puunene, Maui. She was the daughter of Tadashi and Florence Miyamoto. She worked at Verizon Hawaiian Tel as a general office clerk before retiring. She is survived by daughters, Tracey and Sharon of Honolulu; brother, Robert (Beverly) Miyamoto of Maui; and sisters, Joyce (Richard) Chinen of Maui and JoAnn (Lester) Orikasa of Maui; and two grandchildren.
