Retired as an Irrigation man for HC&S. Married for 58 years, enjoyed farming, cooking, and spending time with family. Frances Jane Hinton, 90, died peacefully at home on August 8, 2017. Born on Whidbey Island, Washington, on October 25, 1926, she graduated from the University of Washington as a member of the Delta Zeta sorority. A world traveler, Fran settled in Lahaina, where she met her late husband, Warren Hinton. Together they owned several successful businesses and were active community members, including founding members of the Lahaina Yacht Club.
