Winston Sherdell Ellison, 75, of Shaver Lake CA, passed away in Kihei, HI on Tuesday July 18, 2017. Winston was born on September 13, 1941 in Shafter, California to William L. Ellison and Sarah (Ashlock) Ellison. Winston was a retired Home Builder in Shaver Lake. He loved to travel, during the winter you would find him at China Peak skiing and snowboarding with friends. Spring thru summer he spent in Maui enjoying tennis, biking, windsurfing and relaxing for a game of checkers or chess with friends. He loved music and playing his instruments. James B. Mullenix, 70, of Kihei, passed away on July 31, 2017 at Maui Memorial Medical Center, with his loving family by his side. Private family services will be held at a later date. Gene Raine, of Kihei, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2017, under the care of Hospice Maui, with loving family by his side. Services honoring Mr. Raine were held at Kihei Lutheran Church where the Raines have been members since moving to Maui in 2013. Nakamura Mortuary assisted with arrangements. Florence Fukuyo Yamada, 93, of Kula, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2017 at Hale Makua -Kahului. Services honoring Mrs. Yamada were held privately at her request.
