Richard M. Nakagawa, 69, of Haiku passed away peacefully on May 19, 2017, with his loving family by his side. Services honoring Mr. Nakagawa were held privately at Nakamura Mortuary followed by internment at the Makawao Veterans Cemetary with military honors. Nakamura Mortuary assisted with arrangements. He served proudly in the US Army, attended University of Hawaii (attained BS degree), and worked for DLNR as a nursery worker. 11/12/1945 – 7/4/2017 Robert (Bob) Jack Parrish of Kula passed away on July 4, 2017 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. Bob was born on 11/12/1945 in Pasadena, CA. He came to Hawaii in the United States Marine Corp in 1962 and served until 1965. He was a proud Viet Nam Veteran. After his military service he was a Journeyman Painter, sailor, portrait artist, avid gardener and beloved friend and father. Bernadette Elizabeth Spencer, 45, of Pukalani, passed away on July 9, 2017 at her home. She was born on March 8, 1972 in Los Angeles, California.
