Kikuyo Suematsu, 85, of Wailuku, passed away on June 7, 2017 at Hale Makua in Kahului. She was born in Wailuku on September 8, 1931. Private services were held. Kikuyo was a speech therapist for the State of Hawaii. She is survived by her brother, Yuji (Phyllis) Suematsu; sister, Sumie Suematsu; and 3 nephews, Ryan, Robb, and Joel Suematsu. Kikuko Ganiko, 101, of Kihei, Maui, passed away on May 17, 2017. She was born on September 2, 1915, in Makawao. Private family services were held. Kikuko is survived by her daughters, Mollie Tamashiro, Patricia (John) Jones; granddaughters, Karla Tamashiro, Jan (Michael) Ratte; and great granddaughter, Kayla Ratte. John “Teddy” F. Galam, 86 of Kahului passed away May 18, 2017. He was born in the Pu’unene to Cepriano and Esperanza Galam. Teddy attended Maui High School in Hamakuapoko and was a truck driver for V.I.E. He loved jamming at family parties. Restoring cars was his passion and landscaping was his comfort zone. Teddy took pride in everything he did. Visitation will be held at St Ann’s Catholic Church in Waihee on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 9:00am-10:00am.
