Carol Tamiko Shinyama, 89 of Wailuku passed away peacefully on September 24, 2016 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Services honoring Mrs. Shinyama were held privately at her request.  Nakamura Mortuary assisted with arrangements. Carol was born in Wailuku on December 18, 1926 to Tsuruo & Chitoshi Matsui.  She retired from Maui Land and Pineapple Company as a personnel clerk in the Hailiimaile Office.
