Frank William Gardanier, Jr., 72, passed away peacefully at his home on September 16, 2016, in Makawao, Maui, Hawaii.  Formerly of Albion, Michigan, Frank graduated from Albion High School in 1962.  He greatly enjoyed playing sports while in school.  He also worked at Fannings Chevrolet, Sportman Shop and Union Steel Products before heading to California to attend Taft College.  While in college, Frank met Shelley, the girl he would marry.  After marrying Shelley Kaho’ohanohano, the couple moved to Maui (Shelley’s home town) and Frank joined the National Guard.  Frank served in ...
