John Alan Gilchrist, 56, of Lahaina, Maui passed peacefully Sunday, September 4, 2016 after a battle with colon cancer.John was born in Long Beach, California on December 29, 1959. He graduated from Huntington Beach High School in 1979.John worked as a server at Kapalua Bay Hotel for 30 years.
