Sharon T. Kawachi, born on August 2, 1948, peacefully passed away on March 24, 2024, surrounded by loved ones at Maui Memorial Medical Center. She was predeceased by her parents, Kenneth Kazuyuki Kawachi and Janice Akiyo Arai Kawachi, as well as her sister, June (Glenn) H. Otani. Sharon’s memory lives on through her surviving brothers, Dennis (Linda) H. Kawachi, Robert (Rene) T. Kawachi, Roy M. Kawachi and her sister, Kay Y. Kawachi. Pamela A. Mahaney

Pamela A. Mahaney, May 2, 1949 to March 8, 2024, beloved wife of 45 years to Andrew B. Mahaney died of a bacterial infection of her right foot that spread to other internal organs. She is dearly missed. She is survived by a younger sister, her brother-in-law, two adopted nephews, and three dogs, all who adored her. Cremation was done by Ballard's Mortuary. A prayer service and memoriam will be at St. Ann's Church in Waihee on Sunday, April 28 at 3p.m. Refreshments will be served in the church hall after the service. Amen.
