CELEBRATE 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF MAUI'S CHILDREN'S HULA COMPETITION. Ka'anapali Beach Hotel will host the 25th anniversary of Maui's children's hula competition, Hula O Na Keiki on Friday and Saturday. Twenty-five participants will be judged on their interview skills, chanting styles, dance performances and cultural appropriateness of costumes and adornments. The weekend festivities at the hotel include arts and crafts from all islands from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., cultural and hula workshops from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Hawaiian entertainment for both days.
