Must See: East Maui Taro Festival * Saturday

HELE ON TO HANA! Celebrate the 23rd annual East Maui Taro Festival from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Hana Ballpark. The festival features Hawaiian music, hula, 20 food booths, more than 40 arts and crafts vendors and an ag tent with a farmers market. There will also be hands-on Hawaiian activities, such as poi pounding, lauhala weaving and more. Admission is free. On Sunday, the Taro Pancake Breakfast will be served at Hana Bay by the new Barefoot Cafe & Bakery. Pre-sale tickets are $8 and available at Hana Post Office.
