The 11th annual Maui Open Studios event will run for three weekends in February with self-guided tours beginning Feb. 12, pending potential changes or updates to Maui County’s public health emergency rules.

The event gives local artists an opportunity to open their studios and exhibition spaces to showcase and sell their work to the public. Visitors can connect with the artists through one-on-one interactions, and in some cases, live demonstrations.

This year’s event will feature more than 100 participating artists working in various mediums, including ceramics, photography, mixed media, glass, wood, fiber, drawing, painting and sculpture. Many of the artists will have their shows fully or partially outdoors. There will be no opening celebration or preview exhibition due to COVID-19 protocols.

Maui Open Studios is free to the public.
