Yoga students at Powerhouse Gym in Kihei stand before a display of photographs by Maui photographer Harvey Janis while waiting to enter their classroom Wednesday morning. “We love Harvey,” said one student who knows the 85-year-old fine-art photographer from classes he attends at the gym. Janis said that the exhibit was the brainchild of his daughters, Abby Wong and Karen Casten. His work has been featured in Art Maui and at the Hui No’eau Visual Arts Center and the Maui Fair.
