Island artists shine at 40th annual Art Maui

Haiku artist Melody Guini (left, first photo) talks about her piece titled “When My Time Comes” with Lahaina’s Beth Hill on Wednesday afternoon at the Art Maui exhibit in the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Schaefer International Gallery. This year is the 40th anniversary of annual juried exhibition. It is scheduled to be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day through April 28. Guini’s piece is oil on canvas.
