Magical night at the Maui Film Festival

Manganiello was premiering his movie “Bottom of the 9th,” which features the couple. He is best known for co-starring for five seasons in HBO’s hit vampire series “True Blood,” and for playing male stripper “Big Dick Richie” in Steven Soderbergh’s “Magic Mike” and “Magic Mike XXL.” Vergara is best known as Gloria in ABC’s Emmy-winning hit comedy series “Modern Family.”

THIRD PHOTO: The Celestial Cinema on the Wailea Gold & Emerald Golf Course was full Friday night for the Maui Film Festival. Tonight, co-star of “Crazy Rich Asians” Awkwafina will accept the Maui Film Festival Shining Star Award and will premiere her new film, “The Farewell.” The festival in its 20th year runs through Sunday with film showings in Wailea and at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center.
