Water service will be cut off in Kahului on Jan. 23-24 to tie-in a new waterline for new Kahului Elementary School classrooms.

There will be no water from 9 p.m. Jan. 23 to 3 a.m. Jan. 24. Areas affected include Lono Avenue between Hina and Papa avenues and Oahu, Molokai Akau and Lehua streets and Papa Avenue between Hina and Lono avenues, the county said.

Residents in those areas are urged to store water and adjust schedules as needed. Rojac Construction is doing the work.
