Maui News closing lobby Wednesday to business

The Maui News will be closing its lobby to in-person traffic beginning Wednesday and conducting business through phone, email, mail and fax until further notice.

The newspaper is considered an essential community service and can operate amid the coronavirus closures.

• Classifieds, 242-6375.

• Newsroom, 242-6343.

The mailing address for The Maui News is P.O. Box 550, Wailuku 96793.

For U.S. Postal, carrier or other deliveries, knock on the front door during business hours for admittance. If no one answers, call 242-6375 or 242-6362 for entry.

In addition, the Maui Scene tabloid will become a one-page broadsheet Thursday due to lack of dining and entertainment events.
