COVID-19 effect on Kamaole I

This pair of photos shows Kihei's popular Kamaole Beach Park I with and without the effects of COVID-19. The empty beach photo was taken Saturday morning, while the busy one was taken Nov. 30, 2018. Maui County Mayor Michael Victorino's stay-at-home order, which took effect March 25, has a lot to do with this, but 84 citations and six arrests have been made countywide so far for violators of the order.
