Man charged in robbery
Bail was set at $5,000 on Monday for a 20-year-old man who allegedly entered a Kahului store Sunday night and demanded money from a female cashier and then pushed a male security guard several times, police said.
Levi Labrie of Kahului was charged with second-degree robbery without a weapon, according to police records.
The incident took place around 10:47 p.m. Sunday when the man allegedly approached a female cashier and demanded money. Loss prevention/security personnel requested the man leave the store, but he refused, police said. The man then allegedly pushed a male security guard several times before leaving. No injuries were reported.
The man was located and arrested by police.
