Ballot packages for the primary election are set to be mailed out beginning Tuesday, County Clerk Kathy Kaohu announced.
Kaohu reminded voters that this year's election will be conducted completely by mail.
"And while Primary Election Day is on Aug. 8, voters do not need to wait to vote," she said.
Registered voters in Maui County may receive their ballot packets as early as July 15. Voters should complete their voting on the ballot, sign the affirmation statement on their return envelope and return their ballot in the self-addressed postage-paid return envelope via the U.S. Postal Service.
Registered voters who do not receive their ballots by July 21 should call the Office of the County Clerk at 270-7749.
