THE FOLLOWING SENTENCES for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor occurred during the period of June 2 to July 8. The listings include the offender’s name, age, residence and charges. First offenders undergo a 14-hour alcohol abuse rehabilitation program, a substance abuse evaluation and a one-year license suspension with the ability to operate a vehicle if qualified for an ignition interlock device.

Wailuku District Court:

Brandan Ceballos, 37, Paia; DUI; $250 fine, plus fees.

Sarah Elcan, 33, Kihei; DUI; $250 fine, $437 in fees.

Amun Muniz-Miranda, 22, Haiku; DUI, lack of due care; $350 in fines, plus fees.

Richard J. Olson, 36, Kihei; DUI, lack of due care; $850 in fines, plus fees.

James Ruwagabung, 26, Kihei; DUI; two-day jail term, $250 fine, $437 in fees.
